Kisean Johnson’s stint at WKU was shorter as he played just one season after transferring from Alabama State. Elijah Young had previously spent three seasons in the Southeastern Conference at Missouri before transferring to WKU to conclude his college career. In 2023, he led WKU in rushing with a total of 474 yards and three touchdowns while also contributing as a receiver. His performance continued to shine during the 2024 season; he started all 14 games and rushed for 883 yards and an additional three touchdowns, accumulating 1,267 all-purpose yards.
