Prior to signing with WKU, Einess completed her freshman year at Seton Hall, where she showcased her abilities on the court. During the spring dual match season, she recorded a commendable 5-1 record, playing at various positions, including No. 3, 4, 5, and 6. Notable victories included matches against teams such as Saint Joseph’s, Sacred Heart, Hofstra, Georgetown, and Monmouth.
Einess comes from a distinguished background in tennis. A product of Breck School in Minnesota, she concluded her high school career with an impressive streak of 47 consecutive match wins and 115 games won in a row. Her achievements include earning the title of two-time Class A Girls Tennis Singles high school state champion and reaching the championship match during her sophomore year. At the state level, she was recognized as the top player and was honored as The Minnesota Star Tribune’s Metro Girls Tennis Player of the Year.
Isabelle Einess is the fifth new player expected to join the WKU Women’s Tennis roster for the 2025-26 season. Along with her, transfers from other institutions include Ariadna Fernandez from Arkansas State, Andra Sirbu from Bradley, Barbara Olvera, and Virginia Madueño Pita.
Meanwhile, the 2024-25 roster will see the return of several key players, including Emily Schut, Elizabeth Sobieski, and Carolina Chiatti, who are expected to contribute to the team’s ongoing development.
