Born on February 21, 1962, in Edmonson County, Marketta was the daughter of the late Bessie and Floyd Crenshaw. Throughout her life, she built a reputation not only as a successful business owner but also as a compassionate individual deeply connected to her community. Marketta was married to her soul mate, David Ring, who survives her, along with her two children, Stanley Taylor and Sarah Rutherford, and three grandchildren.
Marketta was the heart and soul behind her business, Classy Cuts, which became a cornerstone of her local community.
