Marketta died peacefully at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, with her family by her side, marking the end of a life dedicated to her family, business, and the welfare of her community.

Born on February 21, 1962, in Edmonson County, Marketta was the daughter of the late Bessie and Floyd Crenshaw. Throughout her life, she built a reputation not only as a successful business owner but also as a compassionate individual deeply connected to her community. Marketta was married to her soul mate, David Ring, who survives her, along with her two children, Stanley Taylor and Sarah Rutherford, and three grandchildren.

Marketta was the heart and soul behind her business, Classy Cuts, which became a cornerstone of her local community. Known for her warmth and nurturing spirit, she drew loyalty from her customers and staff alike, creating an environment where everyone felt valued. Marketta also had three sisters—Lynn Sesler of New Orleans, Vickie Haswell of Brownsville, and Wendy Partain of Park City. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley and Ronnie Crenshaw.

Visitation for Marketta will be held on Saturday, June 7, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel. The funeral service will follow the visitation, starting at 2 PM on the same day and at the same location. After the service, she will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
