As she attempted to make a left turn onto Franklin Road, her vehicle collided with a westbound 2020 Toyota Camry, a vehicle driven by Brendan Ploughe, 26, from Scottsville, Kentucky. Following the impact, Brandon was transported to Franklin Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
In addition to the fatality, a passenger in Brandon’s vehicle, Jonathan Blackman, was also injured and taken to Greenview Regional Hospital. Blackman is reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
