In 1972, the family relocated to Jeffersontown, Kentucky, due to Merlin’s work commitments, and later moved to Olathe, Kansas, in 1981. Merlin Iverson passed away in 2010, prompting Delores to move to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to be closer to her son Mark and his family.
