The best course of action was to remove the old roof and build a new garland-modified bitumen roofing system, which would deliver a robust waterproof seal and could withstand standing water.

During the renovation, they discovered that the building’s air intakes were on the top, which meant there was a possibility that the odor of the sealing material might be drawn into the hospital area. To accommodate the unique requirements of the hospital environment, they took measures to create a secure and odorless roofing installation by installing carbon filters on the building’s air intakes.

The roofing job on Baptist Tower 86 was finished in an impressive three months, and the structure has held up perfectly since.
