One of the major highlights of National Park and Rec Month in Bowling Green is the 64th annual Pet Show, which is set to take place on July 9 at City Park, starting at 7 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for July 16 at 7 p.m.

All legal pets are invited to participate in the Pet Show, which includes a variety of entertaining categories such as Funniest Pet Name, Best Dressed Pet, Cutest Boy Dog, and more. Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration to ensure a smooth check-in process.
