Principal Kyle McGraw addressed the audience during the ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the athletes’ achievements and the dedication that brought them to this milestone. The principal commended their hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Mogie Bradley expressed enthusiasm about cheering for Western Kentucky University, looking forward to representing her school with pride. Adelyn Drane, a multi-sport athlete, has a promising soccer career. Last season, she played an instrumental role in leading her team to its fourth consecutive regional tournament victory, scoring 19 goals and providing nine assists. Her transition to focusing solely on soccer at the collegiate level is an exciting prospect for her future.

CJ Sweeney concludes his senior season with impressive statistics, having caught 29 passes for 513 yards and scoring four touchdowns while managing a back injury. He expressed gratitude for the supportive and welcoming coaching staff at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Anthony Pointer also had an impactful senior year, notching 33 total tackles and contributing to his team’s back-to-back state championships. He is eager to begin this new chapter in his athletic career.

Outstanding Performances in Team Sports

Henderson Wiggins showed exceptional skill as a goalkeeper during his senior year in soccer, allowing only five goals throughout 20 games and achieving 10 shutouts. His performance has set a high standard for his future endeavors at Lindsey Wilson College.

Trevor Huff, serving as the captain of the Bowling Green bowling team, brought significant experience into his collegiate commitment. His participation in the Junior Gold Championships fueled his competitive spirit and gave him an understanding of the level of competition he will face at Lindsey Wilson College.
