On Thursday at 7:30 a.m., the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic assault involving 19-year-old Christopher Ayala. The victim accused Ayala of pushing her off a porch, subsequently throwing her to the ground, and using his forearm to restrict her airflow during the altercation. As a result, Ayala has been charged with second-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and fourth-degree assault, all pertaining to domestic violence and resulting in minor injuries to the victim. He remains in custody at the Warren County Regional Jail.

In a separate incident that occurred on Saturday, Bowling Green police received a report of audible yelling in a parking lot around 12:57 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the vehicle involved in the disturbance had already departed. Later at 2:46 p.m., police were called to Wood County Hospital, where a 17-year-old male was being treated for a large head laceration. A female witness indicated that the altercation began while traveling from Cleveland to Bowling Green when a physical confrontation erupted between the 17-year-old and another male.

Surveillance footage reviewed by authorities showed the 17-year-old exiting the vehicle and aggressively engaging with the other male, leading to a brawl outside the vehicle. The teenager sustained small cuts on his knuckles and had blood on his shirt at the time of his arrest. Ultimately, he was apprehended for domestic violence and taken into custody at a juvenile detention facility.
