Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Warren County Public Library, and WKU Libraries host the Southern Kentucky Book Fest, one of the state’s major literary events. The Book Fest, which takes place every year, attracts thousands of readers of all ages who are excited to meet their favorite writers and acquire autographed copies of their works.
The annual SOKY Book Fest will take place on March 26th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and has been named one of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association’s Top 10 Festivals & Events for numerous years. The popularity of the event, its influence on the local tourism industry, as well as cultural and historical relevance, are all factors in the selection process. The 25th of March will be Children and Teens Day, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Illustrators and writers will give talks, autograph copies of their works, and meet one-on-one with elementary and high school kids during the Children and Teens Day festivities. Throughout the day, there will be a variety of activities for students of all ages.Â

In 2022, the Bowling Green International Festival will be held in person for the 32nd time!
Every year on the last Saturday in September, Bowling Green’s lovely Circus Square Park transforms into an International Paradise, with people from all over the world gathering to proudly celebrate their many cultures. Music, dancing, demonstrations, genuine delicacies, edutainment activities, cultural exhibits, and an international mart are all part of the festival, which respects our inhabitants’ background and variety. A wide range of music and dance is performed on stages and in performance venues. Throughout the festival, there are activities, contests, and events.Â

The Holley LS Fest, one of BG’s flagship automotive events, is a celebration of anything and everything powered by the legendary GM LS engine! In a variety of events, LS-powered racing vehicles, street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and late models will compete. Drag racing, autocross, the 3S challenge, show-n-shine, Track X, drifting, and more events are included. Holley’s hometown track, the historic Beech Bend Raceway, and the NCM Motorsports Park just up the road will host events September 9-11.
