Lillie Mae Walton was born on January 28, 1935, in Monroe County, Kentucky, to her late parents, Doc Allen Scott and Myrtie Jane Cain. She was known for her warm spirit and dedication to her family, especially being a caring mother and grandmother. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” D. Walton, as well as her two sisters, Shirley Scott and Nina Scott. Two brothers, Claude Scott and Clyde Denton Scott, also died before her.

Throughout her life, Lillie was an active member of the Eastside Church of Christ, where she participated in community events and faith-based activities. She was well known in her neighborhood for owning several rental properties for over forty years, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit. Besides her business endeavors, Lillie enjoyed cooking and playing card games with family and friends.

Lillie is survived by her four children: Jerry Pitcock (Candy) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; Terry Pitcock of Murray, Kentucky; Perry Pitcock of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and Teresa Meredith (Lonnie) of Cave City, Kentucky. Additionally, she is survived by six grandchildren: Angie Vincent, Bradley Slate, Contessa Brown, Krissy Pitcock, Terry A. Pitcock, and Brandon Jewell. Lillie’s legacy continues with three great-grandchildren: Tanner Nodine, Noah Pitcock, and Colten Jewell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who fondly remember her as a loving matriarch.

Funeral services for Lillie Mae Walton are scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, followed by burial at Houk Cemetery in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Visitation with the family will occur on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, as well as on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
