Bowling Green, KY – The community is grieving the loss of Philip Douglas Bradley, a beloved father and devoted Catholic, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. He was 48 years old.

Philip’s death comes as a significant loss to his family and friends, who cherished him for his deep faith in God and his commitment to the Church. He lived his life with compassion and was known for the strong connections he forged with those around him. He was particularly devoted to his mother, Phyllis Jackson, and his son, Kayden Bradley, whom he adored.

In addition to his mother and son, Philip is mourned by his beloved pet, Minnie Moo, and his ex-wife and best friend, Tabatha Bradley of Edmonton, KY. His family extends to include multiple loving relatives, such as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robin and Lena Hitchens from Edmonton, KY, along with an uncle, Larry Jackson (Lee) from Elizabethtown, KY, and an aunt, Teresa Fox from Tompkinsville, KY. He also leaves behind a special aunt known as Auntie Ali from Baroda, MI, as well as sisters-in-law, numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who have all shared in his life.

Philip was preceded in death by his father, Burton Bradley, Jr. from Dallas, NC, and uncles Jimmy and Tommy Jackson, hailing from Horse Cave and Glasgow, KY, respectively. His family has invited the community to come together in remembrance of his life.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on May 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The church is located at 434 Church Ave, Bowling Green, KY. Following the service, burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.

The family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home, which will assist with covering funeral expenses.

Philip’s life was characterized by unwavering faith, kindness, and dedication to his loved ones. His legacy will continue through those he leaves behind, reminding everyone of the strength of family bonds and community support during challenging times.
