The tournament took place at the stunning Lake Jovita Golf Club, where rolling greens and challenging fairways posed hurdles that the talented WKU squad tackled head-on.

When the dust settled, the team recorded a total score of 45-over par 897, demonstrating their determination and skill throughout the three-day event. The competition was fierce, with Florida Gulf Coast claiming victory by finishing at 14-over par 866. The second place went to Illinois with a score of 21-over par 873, while both New Mexico State and Stetson tied for third at 37-over par 889.

On the individual front, Emma Bunch from New Mexico State was the standout performer, capturing the individual title with an impressive score of 4-under par 209. Among WKU’s talented golfers, Catie Craig and Sydney Hackett made their mark by finishing in the top 10, with Craig finishing in 9th place and Hackett securing a tie for 10th.

Catie Craig, known for her consistency, managed to score 73-73-72 through the tournament, ending with a total of 5-over par. This marked her 19th career top-10 finish over 37 events, which is no small feat! Meanwhile, Sydney Hackett posted scores of 74-73-72, finishing at 6-over par. Remarkably, Hackett has now recorded a top 10 finish in all three spring events, adding to her total of nine top-10 finishes across 29 career events.
